Mapping the way to our new head office

I’ve been feeling the first tinges of autumn in the mornings this week and that makes our move to our new head office ever-closer. More and more things are being finalised by the day, but one of the things we get asked the most is ‘how will we get to the new head office?’

Well, if you check out our website, there are already directions in place to make sure you can find us when we move. With our new location alongside the M271, most of our visitors will no doubt think of the car as their best way to get here, but we’ve put other plans in place too to reduce our environmental impact as much as we can.

The train station at Southampton Central will be directly connected to us by the First Bus 17 and 17A routes, running throughout the day to a newly-installed bus stop right outside our new head office. The number 21 bus will also be serving Adanac Park, giving us and our visitors a variety of public transport options.

For those who would rather be self-propelled, there are pavements and cycle routes to help you on your way to Adanac Park too. We’ve built a large covered bike store alongside our new building. Attached to the bike store is a large shower and changing facility with lockers to ensure that we’ll arrive at our desks as fresh as a daisy!

Of course, for some of us, visitors and employees, driving will be the only means to arrive on site. The car park has visitor bays close to the main entrance and an area reserved for car-sharers to encourage people to cut the number of single-occupancy cars on the roads.

If you’re likely to come for a visit next year, keep an eye on our website to see when we move offices and make use of those new directions and travel options too.

I am looking for a map of lancashire with all the areas clearly
shown on it. Scarisbrick, Halsall, Barton, etc. etc. Mainly SW lancs I suppose. Is there such a thing ? I would like to get one and have seen one at someone’s house. Where can I purchase it please?
