More photos from The Duke's visit to Ordnance Survey

Yesterday we were honoured to host the Duke of Edinburgh to officially open our new head office.

It was a great day and The Duke seemed to genuinely enjoy himself as he learnt about the way modern mapping and geographic data is made. He also managed to make everyone laugh by referring to himself as “the world’s most experienced plaque unveiler” as he declared Explorer House officially open.

Here are a few photos from the day and we’ll hopefully have a film soon too. In the meantime you might like to watch this coverage from the BBC and ITV’s Meridian Tonight programme.
