Karen McGrath, our Consumer Marketing Manager, gives an update on how we’ll be involved in this year’s Outdoors Show.

London’s ExCel Centre again hosts the show for outdoor pursuits but with a difference. The Outdoors Show, if you haven’t been before, you get to see four shows for the price of one ticket as it includes The London Boat Show, The London Bike Show and The Active Travel Show. New for this year is the Wild Britain Stage which will host a range of speakers including our very own experts from Ordnance Survey who will give talks and practical demonstrations on: 

• Introduction to map reading
• Adventure with map and compass
• Introduction to GPS 

So why not join us, take the fear out of map reading and learn a new skill – it’s easier than you think; brush up on your navigation techniques or if you’re new to technology, find out about GPS. And don’t forget to visit us on our Ordnance Survey stand, OU140, for information about all our products, especially our exciting new mobile app OS MapFinder launched last week!

   Hi,

   I visited your stand and was given a flyer that offered 20% off custom OS maps beofre the end of Jan – I left the voucher along with a load of natural soup and porridge at the Nikwax stand!! Is there any chance you could email me the code?
