Ordnance Survey are delighted to announce that they have signed up to be a sponsor of the Outdoors Show 2011 by sponsoring the Ordnance Survey Active Britain zone. Now in it’s 10th year, the show is moving down to London’s ExCeL and is linking up with it’s sister show, The London Bike Show and the London Boat Show to become the first super show for the Outdoors in the UK.
Ordnance Survey will be sponsors of the Active Britain zone – an area where you can come and get information about how to get the most out of your leisure time. There will be inspiring talks about British locations and the chance to brush up on your map reading skills. You’ll also be able to buy maps at the show through our online map shop and pick up tips on map reading and navigation.
When you book your tickets for the show – don’t forget to book a session in the Outdoors Heroes Theatre too. Simon King, Ray Mears, Ben Fogle and Sir Ranulph Fiennes will be there – and if you book the premium seats to see them you get a very special and limited edition Ordnance Survey Map. Each map is of the celebrities favourite area of Great Britain.
